Tweezerman has new Take Apart Nippers that can be separated for detailed cleaning. The handles gently pull apart to release the spring at the center and rotate out until the jaw blade joint releases. Each blade and joint side can then be carefully and thoroughly cleaned, especially in tight crevices where there may be debris build-up.
