Nail Art

Dedicated to the infinite joys of nail art and design: handpaint, airbrush, colored acrylics and gels.

When you create nail art, do you use nail polish, striper polish, or craft paint?

Q.

When you create nail art, do you use nail polish, striper polish, or craft paint?

A.

I use everything to do nail art, depending on the design. For example, if I’m doing marbelizing, I’ll use nail polish. If I’m doing striping, I’ll use acrylic craft paint and a striper brush. If I’m doing a character like a cat, I’ll use acrylic craft paint. Basically, for most of the designs, acrylic craft paint will do the trick. And of course, colored acrylics! — Patricia Lopez of Studio 24 in Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico, won NAILS Mural Contest in 2008.
