How do I apply gel polish without it pooling to the center of the nail and leaving the outside perimeter bare? 

A.

You have to apply gel polish in thin layers — normally in two coats. Then cure after each coat. For best results, cure the four fingers of the hand first and then apply the polish to the thumb and cure. Gel polish pools when applied too thick or not cured properly. -- Gari-Dawn Tingler
