I have a client who lost a nail after it got caught in a car door. The nail has grown back, but now has very deep ridges. Can I apply acrylic over it?
Since the nail has grown back, there is no harm in applying acrylics. You may have to buff the nail plate slightly before applying acrylic. If the damage is not permanent, it will take between four and six months to get rid of the ridges. – Sunil Sirdesai
