Cover Tech Contest
Would you like to see your nails in NAILS? Enter our annual Cover Tech Contest and if you’re the lucky winner you could see your handiwork on the January 2011 cover! Nail Art Contests
Paint a miniature portrait of yourself on a nail tip and you could win $100 from NAILS. The rules to enter the 2010 Self-Portrait Contest are simple: Using a photo as a guide, paint a portrait of yourself on a #1 nail tip. Submit both the nail tip and the photograph to arrive at NAILS by the deadline of July 12, 2010.

Photo Scavenger Hunt
NAILS is putting together a scrapbook of sorts and we’d like you to provide the images. For our Photo Scavenger Hunt, we’d like you to take clear pictures of yourself with at least five of the following items and e-mail them to us, along with a caption for each:
1. The beauty school you graduated from
2. The place you took your state board exam
3. The salon where you gave your first pedicure to a client
4. Your favorite place in the salon to perform nail services
5. Where you go to escape your work life
6. A piece of decor you contributed to your current salon
7. Your most recent inspiration for a nail art design
8. Someone who’s been a “guinea pig” for a service you were still tweaking
9. Your favorite client
10. Your typical brown-bag lunch
Send us photos of you with at least five of the 10 items and we’ll enter you in a drawing to win a grand prize from China Glaze and Hand and Nail Harmony.
