There’s so much massage time incorporated into the AB Moroccan Pedicure Ritual offered at Ridgefield, Conn.-based Adam Broderick Salon & Spa that they should probably come up with a new term to describe the service: Pedi-sage? Massag-icure?

This relaxing, luxurious treatment incorporates fragrant argan oil-based products from the Moroccanoil line of body products and devotes 28 of its 60 minutes to massage. “We developed the Moroccan Pedicure Ritual to deliver deep skin hydration and deep relaxation to our clients,” says nail bar manager Sheila Rushka.

After the tech does a dry exfoliation of the callused areas of the feet and shapes the toenails, she exfoliates the foot and lower leg using Moroccanoil Body Buff, spending five minutes on each leg. An eight-minute hydrating massage with Moroccanoil Intense Hydrating Treatment immediately follows. This part of the service incorporates hot stones, followed by a warm wrap to help the skin retain the hydration.

After grooming the toenails and cuticles, the tech performs a 10-minute finishing massage using Moroccanoil Body Soufflé. Lastly, she polishes the nails with the client’s choice of color.

“The Moroccanoil Pedicure Ritual has become a classic splurge service at our nail bar due to its luxurious nature, fragrance, and extended massage,” says Rushka. “It’s also a popular gift for the holidays, Valentine’s Day, and Mother’s Day, since it’s such an over-the-top experience.”
