The Barristar Beauty School Forum held in Anaheim, Calif., May 1-2 was a great opportunity for all cosmetology students to learn from professionals, enjoy big savings on products and supplies, see demonstrations from guest artists, attend classes, and participate in and/or watch student competitions. Additionally, there was a special instructors-only class presented by Milady. Exhibitors included INM, who provided a class on acyrlic nails with educator Temeka Jackson; Le Chat Nails, who also provided a nail class; Sally Beauty; and many hair, skin, and makeup manufacturers.
Barristar produces five different Beauty School Forum events a year, educating tens of thousands of students and, in addition, offers continuing education for instructors, which has become a highly popular addition to the show’s education roster. Upcoming 2016 Barristar Beauty School Forums include Phoenix, Ariz. (May 15), Burbank, Calif. (Oct. 16-17), and San Jose Calif. (November 20).
