  1. File gel lightly to break the seal on the top of layer gel.

  2. Pour Soak-Off Solution (Gel Remover) in a small bowl. You will need a tweezer, 10 pieces of cotton wool and 10 pieces of rectangular-cut aluminum foil strips to complete the process. Put the cotton in the Soak-Off Solution. Place a piece of aluminum foil under the finger with the shiny side inside. Carefully place a soaked piece of cotton on the roughened gel making sure that it covers the entire nail. Then wrap the aluminum foil tightly around the finger and leave it wrapped in foil for at least 10 minutes before removing.

  3. The gel will not dissolve but will be softened and loosened from the nail plate. Remove all softened gel from the nail with a plastic manicure tool, one finger at a time while you keep the other nine covered. Make sure not to force the gel off the nail.

  4. Wash the hands carefully. The natural nail will be left clean, healthy, and undamaged.
