Last month, Cuccio held in-person training for its Hong Kong educators, led by the company’s business development director, Jacqueline Yeung. Previously, meetings had been facilitated via Skype and conference calls, making this session the first time in ten years that all of the educators were in the same room for a training program.
According to Yeung, in-person education classes have been difficult to organize. “People in Hong Kong tend to want things faster and faster,” she says. “They don't want to spend their time for something that they might not be able to use in their salon work, but Cuccio can succeed here because we are committed to working only with professionals; they know that we are salon centered, and when our exclusive distributor Nailtech Professional HK Limited set up this session with me, we decided to focus on salon-useful information and technique.”
While Yeung says that most classes teach only about 15 people, this training session reeled in 30 existing educators about how to increase profit through services involving T3 LED Controlled Leveling Gel, Veneer Flat Art Painting and 3D Design Technique, and how to choose the best LED lamp.
“Our LED gel is the hottest product out there, so we wanted to be sure educators were all trained on the latest technology,” says company founder Tony Cuccio. “We hope they took away complete understanding of the new product, that they know how to work with it, and that they take advantage of a nail that can be made quickly and dries in 55 seconds.”
