I’ve spoken with Sigourney Nuñez a member of the OPI Education Team to get some data. According to the Nevada State Board, dip nail services have a 51.4% risk of infection. Below are suggestions from OPI to reduce risk:

> Do use separate medicine cups (this has always been OPI Powder Perfection protocol)

> Don't store contaminated powder (this has always been OPI Powder Perfection protocol)

> Do discard unused powder (this has always been OPI Powder Perfection protocol)

> Don’t double dip (this has always been OPI Powder Perfection protocol)

> Do consider pouring over dipping (this is a new recommendation for the brand)
