The technique-focused four-day workshop, hosted by Ann Chang and Yire Castillo, aimed to fill the gaps in education to leave nail students and professionals more confident in their salon skills and services.

One-on-one training was offered on specific subjects, including natural nail care, pedicures with e-files, sanitation, Gelfinity gel, Spafinity, Divinity pink-and-white acrylics, and e-file certification. The last two days of the camp were dedicated to nail art featuring classes on 3-D designs, acrylic embedding and glitter effects, flat nail art painting, and mixed media art.
“Each of the 16 Kupa Kamp participants received more than $300 worth of products and helped make the first-ever Kupa Kamp a total success,” says Vicki Peters, Kupa master nail tech and educator.
