Young Nails educator G. Elizondo of Bling Nails by G in Las Vegas gives a quick tutorial on crafting this nail design. Elizondo utilizes a “glitter press” technique innovated by the Young Nails education team to create layered sparkly effects in gel. You can check it out here.

1. After curing your gel polish layer, place dots of two different gel colors on the nail.

2. With a dotting tool, drag and swirl through the dots (the less swirling the better the design looks). Cure.

3. Press in loose glitter in random areas to enhance the sparkle.

4. Apply finishing gel. Cure.
