
America’s Beauty and Wellness Industry Under Threat from Proposed Regulations Now Being Considered by U.S. Department of Education
A new report criticizes the regulations' impact against students and entrepreneurs.
Minnesota School of Cosmetology (MSC) is accepting gently used prom dresses to benefit underserved children.


The (MSC) Woodbury, Minn. location is now accepting gently used prom dress donations for the Fairytale Fashion for Food event from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 12, at Woodbury Senior High School. All dress donations must be clean and in ready-to-wear condition.
The Fairytale fashion for Food event includes a “Vintage Vibes Fashion Show” and a daddy/daughter dress shop and swap, which will help at-risk and underserved children of Washington County Schools. One dress purchase is equal to one month’s worth of food for a single child.
Donations can be dropped off at MSC’s Woodbury location, 1750 Weir Drive, Woodbury, Minn. 55125, during regular business hours : Mondays & Fridays 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursdays 9:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
