Only 19% of women and 8% of men consider their feet attractive, according to a study of 977 online buyers conducted by Shopzilla.com. Women account for nearly 90% of all operations performed to correct common foot disorders such as bunions, hammertoes, and neuromas, the study notes. Here are some other foot facts unearthed by the survey:

Percentage of respondents who have had a pedicure:
Women — 57%*
Men — 15%
*Of the women who have had a pedicure, 23% go at least monthly and 61% are more likely to get a pedicure during the hottest months of the year.
