Dashing Diva director of education, Pattie Yankee, gives some sound advice on preserving your nail art products as you beautify from one customer to the next. “You try to save as much as possible these days, and one thing techs could do is put a paper towel under their client’s finger, so when they sprinkle the glitter on they can catch the excess and use it again.”

2. If you’re going to use more than one glitter, remember to shake the excess back into the container each time you use a color so you don’t mix two colors together.

3. Cure the glittered coat for two minutes. Apply another layer of Gelife and cure for two minutes. Then finish with Top Gel and cure for two minutes.
