Tammy Taylor broke her own speed record for doing a full set of sculptured nails on April 17 at the Tammy Taylor Educational Seminar in Houston, Texas. The latest time of 19 minutes, 23 seconds, breaks the previous time of 20 minutes.

The event was witnessed by 200 manicurists, cosmetologists and students, and was recorded by two video cameras for later distribution.

The motivational seminar was both educational and entertaining. Tammy not only told the audience they could make more money by speeding up performance, she proved it as well. As the audience watched on color monitors, Tammy breathlessly described every step and quickly but efficiently went through her 12 step program in record time.

While Tammy labored at the table, assistants, led by Tochi, gave away thousands of dollars worth of products, including three Tochi ventilated manicures tables, new Tammy Taylor Hair Products and hundreds of dollars in cash.

The day-long event, second in a series that began in Hawaii last year, attracted more than 500 attendees to the Holiday Inn Galleria in Houston Displaying their techniques and products were companies like Roux, Milo, Summit Labs and d’Saison skin care and color matching professionals.

Rudy Lenzkes of Beautiful Feet displayed his pedicure techniques and Tochi gave a motivational session on salon management, which was also video-taped for future release by Tammy Taylor Productions.

The next educational seminar in the series takes place June 26 in Orlando, Florida. For more information, contact Tammy Taylor Nails at 17941-B Sky Park Circle, Irvine, CA 92714; phone (714) 250-9287 or (800) 541-8886 in California only.
