The resourceful staff at Nail Galleria in Pittsburgh, Pa., offers the follow triad of tips for their fellow nail technicians: “Especially in the winter months, we like to put heating pads under our towels to keep our clients’ hands nice and toasty. This also assures proper drying of acrylic products on the nails since the product doesn’t crystallize.” — Girl a Ferro

“After a massage, when your hands are slippery from the cream, the polish bottle is hard to open. Put a rubber band around the top of the polish bottle; this makes it easier to open.” — Dena Cupp
