1. Invite manicure clients to slather their feet in a moisturizing lotion before donning a pair of white socks (keep plenty on hand so everyone gets a fresh pair; launder each before re-using) followed by heated booties. For pedicure clients, invite them to keep their hands busy in a similar manner.

2. LaStone Therapy sizzles in winter Keep several larger stones so you’ll always have a warm one on hand to slip under your client’s palms while you work on her nails.

3. Offer clients a pillow for their neck, eyes, sinuses, or feet — whatever the occasion seems to merit. There are numerous heatable pillows infused with herbs or essential oils on the market. Just be sure to have plenty on hand to retail — because clients will want to know where they can buy their own.
