The key aspect that makes bath rituals at Hair Apropos in Chalfont, Pa., so appealing to clients is the spaciousness of the tubs. “Not everyone has an enormous custom-made Japanese soak tub at home,” says salon owner Jenna LaMaina.
At Hair Apropos, clients are able to customize their soaks by choosing from different Japanese and Bali-inspired herbs and essential oils. The services are $35 for 30 minutes or $60 for an hour, and come complete with a hand and scalp massage. To ensure privacy, clients settle into the bathtub in the wet room, which has enough space for the tub, massage table, and a shower.
