Though they didn’t always agree, Maggie can’t help but acknowledge Vicki Peters’ enormous contribution to our industry.

In the midst of all the holiday craziness, it was a great shock to learn of Vicki Peters’ passing.
Ms. Peters and I had long since agreed to disagree on many key issues in this industry — but then, I have made my reputation on disagreeing with people on key issues in our industry — nevertheless, she had incredible influence and she made amazing contributions to our business.
Vicki was an icon, a mentor, and a beloved personal friend to many of us. I did not expect her to leave us quite this soon. She will be sorely missed and our industry will never be quite the same without her.
