A dop of matching polish from a pen (Cosmopolitan suggests Sally Hansen Color Quick Fast Dry Nail Color Pen) can cover up small chips. Cuticle oil, instead of topcoat, is a quicker way to add shine, and bringing polish-remover wipes for major mess-ups are always a smart option.

Suggest a nail pen for clients who need to space out their appointments, and make sure to keep some stocked.
