The Sky’s the Limit: Who Won and Who’s Packing Up Their Paintbrushes

 

Congratulations to Sarah Elmaz for winning the sixth challenge! The judges are ready to go to Sydney after seeing your near-perfect replica of this Australian city skyline.

 

 

Guest judge Rosie Johnson of Gel II said, “The reflection looks just like the picture (maybe even better). Best demo hands down with showing the inspiration picture with your piece.”

 

CND head judge Jan Arnold described Sarah’s work as “Extremely well done. Clean, graphic, and precise!”

 

NAILS senior editor Kim Pham said, “Less is more in Sarah’s overall design where the space between is magical.”

 

Sarah will receive three Gel Couple sets, a Gel II Steamer, and a cordless lamp.

The nail tech who is packing up her paintbrushes this week is … Halley Fortenberry.

 

Halley, you have proven yourself to be a tremendous artist and are definitely one to watch in the nail world. Every time we play Futurama Monopoly or sit down for a Korean meal, we will think of your exceptional nails. You have your whole nail career ahead of you, and we were lucky enough to say we got to know you early on. You will only get better and better!

 

This won’t be the last you hear of Halley. She will move on to CND’s Last Chance Design Lab, where she will have one last chance to stay in the competition. Check back Friday to see who will move on in our Last Chance battle — Victoria or Halley.
