Vegas Vacation: Who Won and Who is Packing Up Their Brushes?

Congratulations to Stella Sampson on her NTNA winning streak! She rolled the dice and won big this week.

Guest judge Vicki Jensen says, “I love everything about this set! The way the dice move is so fun! Stella included so much detail as to how everything was created. Using the Vegas carpet as a background for the nails is beautiful! The 3d elements are perfect!”

Guest judge Nancy Tran says, “This is one of the strongest sets this week. Stella utilized all the products, sculpted one of the best showgirls, and created a nice set of dice and Vegas sign. Her video was entertaining to watch!”

Season 6 champion Ashton Harlan says, “The ball magnets under the dice made for such a fun effect! The feathers for the headpiece were a little too large, but I love watching her sculpt portraits! Some of the nails seemed too repetitive, but the carpet print and thumb nails were fantastic!”

Head judge Jan Arnold says, “Very clever strategic planning for final photo. All of your perfectly executed design elements worked together to make an exciting statement! Brilliant dice, portrait, and painting. Feeling so exhilarated by YOU!”

Head judge Beth Livesay says, “Those dice made this set come to life! The carpet pattern and 3-D card suits are also favorites of mine. I could watch you sculpt a face all day, I learn so much from  your technique on this in your video. There were a few Vegas signs this week, but yours was superior.”

The nail artist who will be packing her paintbrushes this week is…Jessica. Jessica is a unique visionary who has already created some memorable sets this season. For someone as talented as she is, we know we will hear and see more from her in the nail art world!

For now, Jessica will move on to the CND Last Chance Design Lab, where she’ll have one last chance to stay in the competition. Check back next Friday to see who will move on in our Last Chance battle — Bojana or Jessica.
