The second week of school got off to a rough start. I spent most of my week finalizing my submission video for the Beauty Changes Lives /CND /Tippi Hedren Nail Technology Scholarship. The scholarship is for nail tech students, giving them the opportunity to win the full cost of their nail technology tuition to an accredited school.
During Premiere Orlando 2014, CND’s co-founder and style director Jan Arnold reaffirmed the professional nail care company’s commitment to the pro side of our industry when she introduced CND’s first-ever online education program for nail professionals — CND University or CNDU.
Ten aspiring beauty industry professionals will receive full scholarships from the Beauty Changes Lives Foundation (BCL) to complete nail technician programs.
NAILS and sister publication VietSALON Magazine joined CND and Beauty Changes Lives (BCL) in honoring actress and philanthropist Tippi Hedren with the BCL Legacy of Style Award.

As always, Premiere Orlando was a show for the books. The massive beauty show, which took place June 2-3, hosted beauty professionals and industry manufacturers from around the globe.
