Light My Fire

Keep the flames of nail art alive with this hot-looking airbrushed design by Dianne D'Agnolo, co-owner of Too Much Fun. All it takes is a few colors and some creativity to create this fun and simple design.

Looking for step-by-step instructions on how to do nail art designs on your client's nails? Well look no further. If you want to search our archives, we've divided our nail art how-tos into different levels — beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Don't forget, we'll be constantly adding new designs, so keep coming back for more nail art step-by-steps.

1. Over a crystal base coat, airbrush the entire nail yellow.

2. Blend orange around the edges of the nail. Position three different negative precut templates in the shape of flames along the edges of the nail.

3. Airbrush red over the entire nail, with a slightly darker red on the left side.

4. Remove the templates to reveal the design. Seal with top coat.
