Combine different shades of colored gel with a dose of glitter and what do you get? These pretty, pearly designs by Laura Sloggatt, a nail tech and ibd educator based in Levittown, N.Y. Not only will they look nice on your clients' nails, they're also long-lasting.

1. Apply white gel. Cure for a few minutes.


2. Apply pink gel at the cuticle area, fading into the smile line. Cure for a few minutes.


3. Apply turquoise gel starting at the free edge. Overlap it with the pink gel then using a striper brush drag the gel into the pink gel. Cure for a few minutes.


4. Apply a coat of clear gel and sprinkle glitter on the nail. Cure for 30 seconds. Add another coat of clear gel and cure for 30 seconds.
