Celebrity Nail Tech Launches New Lacquer Brand

by Staff Writer | January 10, 2019

Celebrity manicurist Gina Alcedo has announced the official launch of Nailvana LA (NVLA). After a beta test with high-profile clients such as Amal and George Clooney, Arianna Huffington, and The Carters, the premier NVLA offering, The Brentwood Collection, is available online at and at high-end salons.

“Nailvana LA is the result of my quest to find the best natural products to keep my clients’ nails healthy and beautiful,” says Alcedo. “It’s been a real passion project for me, starting with the cream designed to strengthen and condition cuticles to honoring the neighborhood where I made my start with the Brentwood Collection, the line naturally helps to improve nail quality with the addition of myrrh extract and the removal of eight harsh chemicals.”

The collection includes six vegan, cruelty-free, 8-free polishes, including: Bristol Circle Blue, Burlingame Grey, Ms. Huffington Pink, Perfect Image, Rockingham Red, and Sunset Blvd. Nude, as well as The Brentwood Base Coat, The Hills Top Coat, and Above Sunset Cuticle Oil. All of NVLA’s products contain myrrh extract to strengthen nails and prevent breakage.
