Runway nail veteran Vickii Adams of Milwaukee designed 300 nails for 30 models in collaboration with designer Moda Muñeca’s lookbook. The shoot involved 13 photographers, seven hairstylists, and 10 makeup artists, but Adams alone did the designing, sizing, and fit of all 30 models. Adams approached the project as a way to help out a local designer and get content for her website (www.vickiiadams.com) and agent. Adams has been a licensed nail tech for 17 years and recommends working with professionals at the local level as a smart way to build your portfolio.
