Dana Cecil (@dana_nailjunkie) of Dover, Ohio, shows how to make this Caribbean-ready nail art.

1. Creating a neutral base. Make sure to form a smile line for the tip. File the smile line to shape. 

2. Add a custom mixed glitter acrylic to the tip. While it's wet, place glitter dots in various sizes and colors. 

3. Encapsulate the tip and glitter pieces by covering the nail with clear acrylic. 

4. Top coat the nail with gel and wipe off the tacky  layer. Add a white acrylic molded starfish using a dab of nail glue.
