Two identities of New York City women inspired Alexander Wang's Fall/Winter 2019 collection: the downtown hustler and the uptown socialite. Alicia Torello for Essie created two looks drawn from the dichotomy of the uptown vs. the downtown. “For the uptown look, I layered Mademoiselle atop Topless & Barefoot. The downtown look was created by layering Wicked and Bordeaux,” says Torello.
