At the Screen Actor's Guild Awards (SAG Awards) on April 4,  actress, activist and OPI Ambassador Kerry Washington made a splash with a mermaid-inspired nail look created by celebrity nail artist Kim Truong using OPI. Kerry’s jewel-toned gown and matching swim cap paired perfectly to a her dazzling under-the-sea inspired manicure to serve ultimate mermaid vibes.

STEP 1: Start by applying OPI GelColor Stay Strong Base Coat to nails.

STEP 2: Next, polish 2 nails with one coat of OPI GelColor in “Passion.” 

STEP 3: Follow up by painting the remaining nails with a coat of  OPI GelColor in “Tile Art to Warm Your Heart”

STEP 4: Using a detail liner brush dipped in OPI GelColor in “Tile Art to Warm Your Heart” create a thin French manicure on the pink nails followed by placing a blue crystal to the center base.

STEP 5: On the blue accent nails, apply clear crystal beads in the desired pattern.

STEP 6: Lastly, seal on all crystals and edges with  OPI GelColor Stay Shiny Top Coat.
