With her experience working with celebrities, nail tech Melissa Bozant knows a thing or two about creating a buzz. In her latest venture, she and co-owner Eleni Hapsis put this knowledge to work at their new full-service salon, EOS Spa & Salon in Sherman Oaks, Calif. The two hosted a Media Appreciation Day in September, encouraging members of the press and Hollywood movers-and-shakers to sample the newly opened salon’s service offerings. “Eos means ‘dawn,’ so we thought we’d bring in some fresh energy with this event,” Bozant said. About 40 people, including celebrities Vanessa Williams and Wendy Davis, tried out services like pomegranate pedicures, facials, massage, and make-up applications. The event was sponsored by product manufacturers China Glaze and Archipelago Inc.
