Minx co-founders Dawn Lynch-Goodwin and Janice Jordan have introduced yet another exciting innovation for nail techs by offering a metallic base coat in combination with translucent Minx templates.

Exclusively brewed by Minx, the MinxLusion base coat presents a bursting prism of color and will be sold in packages of five full templates for $25. When layered with a translucent Minx design, the combination creates a unique presentation and enables the nail technician to employ both artistry and imagination. (The base coat cannot be applied alone as it lacks the long-lasting finish.)

"We have found that fashion designers and style editors love the flexibility and ability to create various looks using just one visual theme," explains Lynch-Goodwin. "We are always striving to heighten the profile of our Minx stylists, and bringing the layering technique to nail technicians will give them yet another way to differentiate themselves with their skill."

Minx will also release 20 new translucent layering patterns and designs that can be applied either alone or as a top coating. With the purchase of the Minx Layering Starter Kit, nail technicians will receive access to online training videos.

"This initial launch is just the beginning," reveals Jordan. "We will soon be launching a number of additional base coat and top coat options, allowing Minx stylists to turn hundreds of designs into thousands of different looks."
