As we told you back in June, Backscratchers president Michael Megna has a thing for Ford Mustangs. In fact, he’s spent the past three years restoring a Backscratchers-purple’ 67 Mustang, but he needed your help to finish the job. He challenged nail artists to capture  his Mustang, as well as their personal favorites, on nail tips that he could showcase in a customized center console.

After personally reviewing each submission, Megna gas selected his favorites. Painting the winning depiction of Megna’s ’67 Mustang was Angie Layton of A Day to Remember Salon in Tulsa, Okla., who will receive  a $250 prize. Winning $100 for the best rendering of the artist’s “Dream Mustang” was Nina Fore of Daise’s Salon & Spa in Canandaigua, N.Y. All tips submitted will be featured as a design element in the car’s interior. “I would like to thank everyone who participated. It was a very hard decision and I am very impressed with the technicians’ talents and artistic abilities,” says Megna.
