Having trouble airbrushing designs on your own nails? Rima Kitsko, owner of Spoiled Rotten Nail Studio in Indianapolis, Ind„ has a simple solution for creating a lace overlay on yourself. Take a piece of foam board and lay your thumb on it. Place a piece of lace over your thumb, then use push pins to pin the sides of the lace, which should be snug across your nail, into the foam board. Airbrush the chosen colour over your thumbnail, making sure the paint is dry before removing the lace. Repeat this process with your other nails. You can also experiment with airbrushing additional colours on each nail; make sure you match up the lace pattern before spraying the added colour.
