Nail artist Jade Evangelou created a special nail look to highlight the problems with waste plastic in the ocean. “After seeing the shocking pictures recently on the plastic pollution in our oceans that are destroying the coral and wildlife, I wanted to create a shoot highlighting the issues and bringing more awareness,” says Evangelou. “Hence my model’s beach waves hair, ocean colors, and sea-inspired nail art.”  

Inspired by Pantone’s 2020 colors, Evangelou used Morgan Taylor Lacquer in the shades Arctic Freeze, Lost in Paradise, Gotta Have Hue, West Coast Cool, and Could Have Foiled Me to create the nail design.
