Whether you watched the big game or not, odds are you heard about Lady Gaga’s dazzling rendition of the National Anthem and Beyoncé's over-the-top halftime show. We at NAILS were thrilled that two nail icons took part in the football festivities.

Gaga’s nails caught our attention right away. The blue sparkly tips were the patriotic touch that was needed to complete the songstress’s red glittery Gucci ensemble and makeup. Los Angeles nail artist Miho Okawara is the nail tech responsible for Gaga’s glittery fingertips. Okawara is also the artist responsible for the Countess’ nails on American Horror Story and the light, long talons Gaga wore when she clutched her Golden Globe for the same role.

Longtime celebrity tech Lisa Logan reprised her role as Beyoncé’s Super Bowl manicurist. Logan used OPI Black Onyx lacquer, matte top coat, and gold studs to reflect the singer’s halftime look.
