To ward off evil when a baby is born, Greek parents pin a little blue eye bead or charm to the baby's clothes. Babies wear them until a bracelet or necklace is given to them with the same blue eye. Almost every child and adult in Greece wears something with this charm of the blue eye.

Step 1: After thoroughly prepping the nail, apply NSI Balance Basic Clear or Builder Clear in polish-like strokes from cuticle to free edge. Add a few drops here and there of X-treme White #1 and Jean Jacket #85 to the uncured clear get and blend over the whole nail. Lock the design for 10 seconds. Apply another very then coat of Balance Basic Clear or Builder Clear. Cure for 2 minutes. For the best results, use an Ultra Pro Full Hand Lamp. Remove the tacky dispersion layer with Cleanse.

Step 2: Using a very small detail brush, draw the outlined eye, eyelashes and eyebrow using Noir #88. Lock the design for 10 seconds.

Step 3: Wipe your brush on a clean Nail Wipe and use Kelly Green #91 to fill in the eye color. Add small pieces of Cracked Ice Nail Embellishments in Green, Blue and Purple for highlights. Wipe your brush on a clean Nail Wipe and fill in the whites of the eye with X-treme White #1. Lock the design for 10 seconds. For the eye shadow effect, apply a small amount of Opal Shimmer and small pieces of Cracked Ice Nail Embellishments in Red under the brow.

Step 4: Apply a very small dab of Noir #88 for the pupil and cure 2 minutes. Apply a thin lawyer of Balance Basic Clear or Builder Clear.
