Orly has introduced the limited-edition Kick Glass collaboration with Dr. Jen Welter, the first female NFL football coach. A trailblazer and pioneer in professional football, Dr. Welter repeatedly shattered glass sidelines and glass ceilings, from becoming the first female running back in a men’s professional league to making history as the first female coach in the NFL.
Orly’s new Kick Glass top-effect aims to empower women on and off the field to break the glass ceiling and to lead strong, fearless, and fulfilled lives. This unique top effect features prismatic angular particles to give off a distinctive shattered glass effect, helping women break barriers one manicure at a time.
Dr. Welter says “beauty is the action you take. It’s the barriers you break. It’s the woman who is getting her hands dirty and shining through.”
“This has been an important project for us at Orly,” says Shanee Pink, creative cirector of Orly. “The beauty industry is sometimes totally focused on follower counts, and not the real achievements of important women. We’re excited to support Dr. Welter’s vision and see this as a step in the direction of continually bringing real, strong women into the beauty space.”
To use: Prep nails and apply Bonder base coat, followed by two coats of Liquid Vinyl or any other solid, bold shade. Let dry, then apply one to two thin coats of Kick Glass top effect to desire finish, then complete the manicure with Polishield.
