Holidays are a perfect time to introduce clients to nail art. This “Let’s Celebrate” design by Gail Pirtle of The Spa Connection in Berea, Ohio, adds a festive touch for ringing in the New Year. It takes about five minutes to do the design on one nail and Pirtle charges $5.

Step 1. Polish the nail white or silver.

Step 2. Using a small brush, paint a teal-colored champagne bottle.

Step 3. Next to the bottle, use a detailer brush to paint a silver champagne glass, then fill in the glass with gold paint.

Step 4. Using a striper brush, paint blue, purple, and pink streamers.

Step 5. Add different-colored confetti dots using a marbleizer brush.

Step 6. Apply an iridescent glitter polish over the entire nail, then apply top coat.
