Karrie Bowers (@beautopianails) of Morgantown, W.Va., shows how to create this swooped French nail art.

1. Paint the entire nail in an opaque nude shade and cure.

2. Add a thin line of white along the very tip of the free edge and extend it down one side, creating a swoop.

3. Leaving a bit of space, create another white line, following the direction of the first. Make sure to leave enough space for the size embellishment you're using and then some. Cure.

4. Add top coat and place embellishments between the two white lines. Cure.
