Jen Fetty (@jenfetty) of Middleton, Idaho, shows how to encapsulate lace for this bridal nail design.

1. Clean and prep the nail. Apply pink acrylic to the entire nail extending to the free edge with a form to create an almond shape.

2. Apply nail glue to the entire nail and cover with lace. Trim exccess lace from around the entire nail.

3. Apply a thin layer of glitter acrylic to the cuticle area. Encapsulate the entire nail in clear acrylic. Make sure the lace leading into the sidewalls and free edge are completely covered without getting acrylic into the cuticles and sidewalls.

4. File, balance, and buff the entire nail.

5.Top coat with a thin layer of clear builder gel and place embellishments into the uncured gel. Once you have placed all of the embellishments where you want them, cure the nail in a UV/LED light.Top coat around the embellishments and cure for extra adhesion.
