We still hate our floor!

We finally figured out why the tiles and glue underneath are oozing. The water from the sprinklers was up way too high and settling at the edge of the building and then seeping underneath. Now that we have figured that out, we shut the sprinkles off, our plants almost died, let the floor dry out, and replaced the tiles.

When that was done the gardeners dug up all the plants out front, added sand underneath to soak up any water, and laid down the stinkiest fertilizer that killed all our plants when they replanted them.

So now we are tracking in stinky fertilizer, the plants look awful, and we are working on the floor. We have been told that to strip, seal, and wax the floor is $300. So we did our homework, and we are doing it ourselves one section at a time. We are getting conflicting advice on stripping the floor first, but why strip a brand new floor that has nothing on it? It’s going to take several coats of sealer and wax but once it is done it should be as shiny as the floor in Petco!
