Thank you so much Makeda and Chauna for finishing up your 1-year stints as Blueprint bloggers. (And more importantly, congratulations on making it through your first year as new salon owners!) Readers, if you have specific questions for them, you can still leave them in the comments section of their previous blog posts, and we'll monitor those for you. (Ramar's 1-year of blogging about True Envy's addition of nail services happens at the end of this month -- so an early thank you to you too, Ramar, but we don't want you to stop the regular updates just yet :) Vicki is mid-year so we are excited to keep hearing from her!)

We are also thrilled that we've found two new salon owners to share their experiences here. Within the next few days, Lauren from Memphis, Tenn., and Tina of Richmond, Va., will be introducing themselves.

It might feel like you’re all alone when you’re opening up a new nail salon, but, trust us, the obstacles you’re facing are the same ones that other salon owners through the ages have overcome. We hope hearing about Lauren's, Tina's, and Vicki's experiences will help you overcome obstacles at your own salon, whether you're a new salon owner or an aspiring one. Stay tuned!
