Last week, we had a major design meeting to order everything that hadn’t yet been ordered. We tweaked the idea of the dividers between the manicure tables to incorporate beautiful 6-ft. high glass partitions. We’re commissioning them from Pulp Studios. The panes will go from the floor up and will provide clients’ a clear view to the waterwall.

We’re also gearing up for tradeshow season. Nadine, Dan, and I will be at ISSE to look for some miscellaneous salon items, like salon towels. We’ll also be actively be spreading the word that we’re now looking to hire techs. The next week, Nadine and I will attend the Day Spa Expo to prepare ourselves for the spa services ROB|B be offering in our upstairs rooms. We’ve set up a meeting with a skin care company to talk about partnering with them for training and esthetician recruitment, in exchange for giving their product line tons of exposure in our salon.
