Nails Are My Super Power: Who Won and Who is Packing Up Their Brushes

I loved how you totally went all-in with your geekiness in your creation, and the end result definitely paid off with so many compliments! Loved how you used glow-in-the-dark Gelee powder and neon Gelee powder in favor of the dramatic off-light moment, and the deep blue background accentuated the bold use of colors. I really appreciate how meticulously clean your work is, as well as everything in your video was very neatly demonstrated. Two thumbs up for mind-blowing precision and engineering!”

Head judge Jan Arnold says, “We so appreciate that your design, while intricate, was still simple, clean and effective. But upon deeper investigation, it was the most precise and technical work of art we’ve seen in the history of the competition. Science merged with art. Genius!”

Season 6 champion Ashton Harlan says, “This must’ve required so much patience! I love this design because it stands out from the rest, and she put her super power to use in creating it! I love that she shared her knowledge with us in the video.”

Head judge Beth Livesay says, “This is maybe the most intimidating nail art set I’ve ever seen because it hinges so much on precise calculation and execution. I enjoyed watching you make the prototype (tooth by tooth) and the color scheme. What a fabulous example of a super power!”

The nail artist who will be packing her paintbrushes this week is…Ilona. Ilona has many super powers with nails being chief among them. We look forward to seeing more of her work on the global nail stage.
