For this month’s On the Road, I decided to pop a new salon that recently opened right down the street from the NAILS office.
Tracey Lee is not new to the nail industry. She has done everything from teaching to judging to vlogging, but now she can say she has truly done it all. The Eindhoven, Netherlands-based tech flew to Chicago in March where she was crowned the champion of Season 4.

NAILS Magazine Shows made continuing education a priority at its New Jersey show held September 11-12. For the first time, all classes and seminars were free for attendees at this show. Class attendance was sold out.
Chi Nail Bar, located right off the well-known shopping mecca that is Rodeo Drive, opened this February. I think we can all admit that it’s not exactly the ideal time to open up a new business, what with the economic crisis and all. But that didn’t stop Ton, a second generation nail tech, from opening up her newest salon. In the business for 10 years, Ton owned several other salons before coming across the space in chic Beverly Hills.
