A new app just debuted in Chicago that makes it easier for nail technicians, hairstylists, massage therapists, and makeup artists to work where they want, when they want, and at the price they want. The LISA App can be used to schedule appointments in your salon, booth, home-based salon, or even at a client’s home. More than just a scheduling app, it handles all transactions including bookkeeping and accepting payments. At the end of a service, a tip option will pop up on the customer’s screen along with the total. The stylist retains 85% of the service fees and Lisa takes 15%.

Security is also a prime consideration. All LISA artists are equipped with LifeLine Response, a mobile security app. No actual phone numbers, last names, or cash is ever exchanged. And artists get to see client rankings and approve only those they wish to serve. A transparent double-rating system keeps reviews real.

“The app lets artists focus on what they do best, while we take care of the business side,” says CEO and founder Robert Richmond. “We are proud of our double-rating system that highlights our commitment to engaging people, promoting entrepreneurs, and being transparent.”
