These micro-community centers assist in leading conversations about topics such as politics and current events to discussions about sports and entertainment.
The pandemic has brought forward new challenges and discussions on business health for barbershops and hair salons around the country.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation is partnering with Barbicide to gather industry leaders and experts for discussions on how the pandemic has affected the industry, the disproportionate impact on communities of color, plans for business and economic recovery, and the various roles of these barbers and hair stylists in supporting business health and community wellbeing.
