The 11th annual Nail Tech Event of the Smokies took place at the Gatlinburg, Tenn., Convention Center July 7- 9, with many techs bringing along their families for some vacation fun. Shopping was a priority for the more than 500 attendees, with many stocking up for an entire year. Education was also in demand — most of the optional Saturday and Monday hands-on workshops were sold out months in advance.

New for 2018, Precision Nails owner Jaime Schrabeck hosted a pre-show dinner gala for 200+ guests at a beautiful venue with soaring views of the surrounding Great Smoky Mountains. The guests enjoyed the camaraderie (and the wine) along with door prizes and swag bags sponsored by Light Elegance, Nail Magic, Designed by Tony Ly, Profiles, Precision Nails, Nail Tech Event of the Smokies, and CND.
